Dream where are you?

It always seems so far away, just somehow out of reach.

I can see it, but only in a dream, as I see it, life is catching up with me.

I take a step, can’t seem to move my feet, the time just falls, between my finger tips.

The years go by so fast , flashing behind me, I can’t  seem to grasp what seems so close.

I can taste it, touch it, but then it falls away, I cant seem to pick it up , can’t  find the path that makes the way.

The shadows seem to be lurking at my feet, the notes won’t come together, in this melody.

Another day gone, tomorrow here you come.

All I can do is walk in faith , that maybe one day , the promise will land, before my feet and all my dreams will have always been . ✅
